Our clients were looking for architects to obtain planning and Building Regulations approval for a pair of new semi-detached homes
Our clients approached the practice to design a pair of bespoke semi-detached homes on their site in South Devon. The houses are arranged over three floors, with an ensuite master bedroom in the loft area enjoying wonderful views across the South Hams countryside. On the ground floor, a semi open plan living / kitchen / dining space opens out onto the sunny patio area overlooking the countryside. A dedicated utility space keeps the washing appliances out of the open plan kitchen and creates an important storage area on the ground floor.
We were proud to learn that the project was awarded a Silver Medal for Best Small Development in the 2020 Devon Building Control Awards, recognising high quality design and workmanship. Photographs kindly provided by Marchand Petit Estate Agents in Kingsbridge.
